Dail Baig - Fused Glass Coastal Scene
This fused glass landscape draws its inspiration from the Western Isles of Scotland, specifically Dail Baig, on the Isle of Lewis. A place where teal waves meet pale sand beneath shifting skies. This is a piece that reflects the raw beauty of Lewis and Harris.
Created using powdered glass and palette knife techniques, the surface has a textured, painterly quality. The panel is kiln-fused and semi-translucent.
It’s displayed on a custom, hand-forged iron stand made by blacksmith K. John Mason of Blandford, Nova Scotia.
Size: Approx. 12 x 12 inches (not including stand)
Display: Includes custom iron stand
Shipping note: Due to the size and fragility of this piece, additional shipping and insurance charges may apply. We’ll contact you after purchase to confirm costs before processing your order.
A sculptural glass piece for collectors, travellers, or anyone drawn to the coastline of the Outer Hebrides.
