Stormy Seas - Fused Glass Powder Painting
A fused glass landscape inspired by the coastal energy of St. Margaret’s Bay and the Chebucto Peninsula, home to Peggy’s Cove. Stormy Seas captures the mood of rough Atlantic waters using a painterly technique: layers of coloured glass powders applied with a palette knife directly onto clear glass.
The finished panel is kiln-fused to create an opaque surface with visible glasswork on the front and a smooth white back - much like a gallery canvas.
Mounted on a hand-forged iron stand made by Nova Scotian blacksmith K. John Mason, this is a one-of-a-kind piece!
Size: Just under 12 x 12 inches (not including stand)
Display: Includes custom iron stand

A bold, sculptural work for coastal homes, glass collectors, or anyone drawn to dramatic seascapes and tactile art.
