Modelled after the female Belted Kingfisher (Megaceryle alcyon), this fused glass bird comes in steel blue and white tones with a distinctive chestnut band across the chest - the colouring unique to the female of the species.

Often spotted perching near lakes and coastal inlets, they’re highly sensitive to changes in habitat and water quality.
