Polar Bear Cub – Fused Glass Christmas Ornament

A little northern magic for your tree.

These handcrafted polar bear ornaments are part of the Midnight Blue series – inspired by deep, star-filled skies, snowy nights, and the storybook charm of animal friends. In 2024, the Northern Lights swept across much of Canada, and though you may have missed them, you can still spot a bear beneath the aurora.

Each bear is made from white and dark glass layers fused in the kiln. The base is clear glass with deep blue overlays, giving the finished piece an opaque feel. While some light patterning may show faintly through the reverse, each has a clearly defined front face.

Choose from two options:

  • Classic Bear – clean, simple, and sweet

  • Aurora Bear – with flashes of colour inspired by the Northern Lights (each one is different; if you'd like to see choices, add a note to your order)

Display: Threaded with clear monofilament for hanging
Finish: Opaque glass, one-sided design
