Hanging Glass Ornament: Dog with Bandana 

A charitable donation of 10% of the pre-tax purchase price of these glass dogs will be split and donated to ElderDog Canada and Misfit Manor Dog Rescue

The shape and look of each dog ornament is unique, as in real life. Their tail may be upright or horizontal, their tone or colour may vary, but overall these dog will be very similar to the ones photographed. On some dogs there is a tiny motif on their 'Kerchief. Size is roughly (or should that be ruffly?), 4"

If there's a dog you particularly like in the photos, just add a note to your order and I'll see if he/she's still available - or select one as close to it as possible.

The dogs are created entirely from glass, and conveniently threaded with clear monofilament for dangling in your window, from a shelf or your desktop monitor in the office! The dog shape is designed and cut both by hand and with a diamond saw, then layers of coloured crushed powdered glass are built up on the clear shape before firing the piece in a kiln over many hours.

 Please note:

  • The dog you're purchasing is not the exact one from the picture, but will look very similar. Please expect minor variations in shape, and also the tone and shade due to the handcrafted, unique and whimsical nature of the work. 
  • Because the dogs are created using successive layering of glass, their detail is best seen from the front.
  • I'm not currently creating custom dogs, but I hope to increase the range of dog "breeds" and colours over time!
