Birds on Posts – Experimental Design
A new experimental twist on my two-legged handcrafted glass birds. Instead of resting on wood, these birds designed to perch among flowers, planters, or even seasonal table displays. The legs of these birds have been replaced by a small brass tube fused into their base, ready to accept the included metal post. You can place them securely in soil, pots, or decorative arrangements.
Currently they're available in adult cardinals and chick seagulls. Approx. size varies by species.
Perfect for adding a touch of colour and charm to your garden, patio, planter, or even as an unexpected element for a Christmas table display!
Please note: The metal post type and length may vary depending on the bird and availability. The brass tube has been exposed to high heat, resulting in natural discoloration.

Birds: General Information
- • Studio-glass handcrafted fused glass in Nova Scotia (no paints, glazes, or moulds)
- • Photos are for guidance only, though your bird will look similar. Minor variations in colour, tone and shade are part of the handmade charm
- • The direction the bird is facing varies — please let me know if you have a preference
- • Fused glass has a front and back — the front is glossy with detail
