Fused Glass Blue Jay – Hanging Bird Decoration

Bright, bold, and unmistakable — the Blue Jay is a familiar sight in Canadian gardens, adn one of our most popular birds.

Each hanging ornament is handmade in Nova Scotia from layers of blue and white glass, kiln-fired to achieve the Jay's distinctive shape and sheen. Blues vary slightly from batch to batch, which is part of what makes each one its own.

Known for strong family bonds, sharp intelligence, and a personality that fills any space, the Blue Jay makes a meaningful gift for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts, or anyone simply drawn to that striking blue.

Size: Approximately 4" (adult), 2.5" (chick), 1.5-1.75" (pocket)
Display: Threaded with clear, nearly invisible cord for hanging

Vif, audacieux et impossible à manquer — le geai bleu est l'un de nos oiseaux en verre les plus populaires. Chaque ornement est fait à la main en Nouvelle-Écosse à partir de couches de verre bleu et blanc, cuit au four. Les teintes varient légèrement d'une fournée à l'autre.

Tailles : environ 11 cm (adulte), 6,5 cm (poussin), 4 cm (format poche) Suspendu sur fil transparent. Version perchée aussi disponible.
