Each piece is handcrafted in Nova Scotia, Canada by Canadian-British artisan Cara Wedgbrow using high-quality kiln-fired fusible glass to create vibrant, beautiful birds that catch the sunlight and the eye! 

These Nova Scotian and Canadian birds are carefully created to make you smile. A little hanging bird makes a perfect sun-catcher or nature-inspired Christmas Tree ornament, and is a unique gift for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts alike! The versatile glass birds add cheerful accent colours to your home, and whether hanging from a bare branch, a christmas tree or window, they make thoughtful gifts and keepsakes. 

A hole is carefully drilled in the top of the bird, and the bird is threaded with clear, nearly invisible cord.
