Fused Glass Hanging Red-Winged Blackbird

Known for their bold wing markings and unmistakable call, Red-winged Blackbirds are a familiar sight around wetlands and marshes. This fused glass version is based on the males, with a sleek black body and a raised, contoured wing highlighted in red and gold.

Each bird is handmade with coloured glass and infused with Aventurine to give the feathers a gentle shimmer. The glass is kiln-fused for a smooth, durable finish—no paint used.

Threaded with clear monofilament and ready to hang in a window, on a branch, or wherever it can catch the light.
