Stormy Seas (Fused Glass Powder Painting)

Stormy Seas is a landscape inspired by St Margaret's Bay and the Chebucto Peninsula where Peggy's Cove is located. The seas are turbulent and full of emotion. It was created from glass powders, applied using a Palette Knife in a painterly technique. The panel is opaque and white on the reverse, just like gallery canvas.

The piece is approximately 12x12" (just a tad under), and rests on a hand-forged iron stand custom made for the glass by well-respected blacksmith K.John Mason of Blandford, Nova Scotia.
