Fused Glass Perched Tree Swallow

I was inspired to create glass Tree Swallows after watching them effortlessly skate through the skies above the lakes and fields behind Annapolis Royal. Tree Swallows (Tachycineta bicolor) are so graceful and swift! To capture the iridescence of their shimmering wings, each bird’s body is crafted from glass infused with fine metallic flakes, giving the “feathers” a subtle, natural sparkle.

This Swallow is part of a Special Edition series featuring a raised, contoured wing. Each piece comes with a detachable driftwood perch.

A meaningful keepsake gift or a distinctive accent for any home or office.

Size: Approximately 5 "
Display: Detachable driftwood perch; size and shape will vary
Also available: Hanging Tree Swallow
