Fused Glass Female Cardinal - Perched Ornament
The female Northern Cardinal is quieter in colour than her mate, but no less striking. Her warm amber-brown plumage, soft red accents, and sharp crest make her one of the most elegant birds in the Canadian garden. Unlike many songbirds, she sings — and male and female cardinals are known to sing duets.
Each bird is handcrafted in Nova Scotia from layered fused glass, with wire legs fired into the glass body. She arrives on a natural live-edge log perch, sanded flat on the base for stability, with the bird slotting securely into place.
Sizes: Approx. 3.5 in (adult), 2.5 in (chick)
Display: Detachable log perch; size and shape will vary. Each is unique.
Also available: Hanging Female Cardinal ornament
An expressive design for bird enthusiasts, woodland decor, or anyone building a cardinal family set.
