LOCAL ARTISAN GIFT SHOPS

The Glass Bakery® Bird Gifts

The Glass Bakery's handcrafted studio-glass birds are available from a selection of artisan gift shops and boutiques across mainly Eastern Canada but also a few shops in Ontario, Alberta and even as far as BC! These shops support quality, buy-local, artisan and handcrafted gifts made in Canada. Each shop holds a dynamic selection of designs, handpicked by the retailer. Please email me to discover (or to recommend) the closest gift shop to you that sells the birds. If you can recommend a shop, I'd love to hear from you!

 

Nature Reserves

There's also a number of Nature Reserves across Canada that sell the birds. By purchasing gifts through their retail stores you're helping to support birds and wildlife in your local area, and you get to spend some time with nature too! These include:

  • Le Nichoir, Hudson, Quebec
  • Fort Whyte, Winnipeg, Manitoba

If you manage a Canadian Registered Wildlife or Nature Charity with a "bricks and mortar" store, and would like to partner to raise funds by selling the birds, please get in touch!

THE STUDIO SHOP

The Glass Bakery's garden-based gift shop at the studio location in Mill Cove, Nova Scotia, offers a wide range of birds of various species, sizes and formats. There is also a selection of nature-inspired glass gift ideas: ornaments, dishes, sun-catcher's and pictures - small lot and experimental designs that aren't widely available.

The Glass Bakery studio shop is a unique little gift shop, open year-round by appointment. 

Please call and leave a voice mail on 1-866-499-8691 to arrange a visit.  Making an "appointment" is easy - just message or call me and we'll set up a mutually convenient window of time and I'll make sure the shop is open for you! If you're passing by and see the CLOSED sign, it's still worth calling as I'm usually not far and may be able to open the store for you!
